About Auer Signal
We want to grow, not just today, but tomorrow. And we want it to be sustainable.
As a fourth-generation family business, we have always been committed to sustainable business practices. In 2022, we decided to support these efforts by implementing an environmental management system. As a first step, Auer Signal's corporate carbon footprint was calculated and the first company-wide environmental processes were defined, which have lead to ISO 14001 certification in 2024. At the same time, sustainability goals were defined to gradually reduce the company's own CO2 emissions through a continuous improvement process.

Improved environmental performance
We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of all our business activities, continuously improving our environmental performance and protecting the environment. For this purpose, environmental targets and measures are developed as part of our environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 as well as continuous monitoring of the achievement of these targets. We are committed to climate protection and products with a low carbon footprint.
In terms of ecological sustainability, we aim to use our resources efficiently, reduce waste, and eliminate substances of concern as much as possible.
Economic Considerations
We strive for green economic growth that is decoupled from resource consumption by applying circular economy principles. For us, promoting fair trade is a way to focus not only on profits but also on environmental protection and social justice.
The continuous assessment and compliance with all binding obligations, standards, and requirements in the field of sustainability is our minimum requirement, which is supplemented by voluntary participation in external environmental rankings.
Social Aspects
We ensure fair working conditions and wages to secure economic stability and prosperity for all employees. The diverse tasks of an environmental management system can only be tackled together and with the help of our family values. That is why we place special emphasis on cross-departmental involvement and sustainability awareness among our employees.

Auer Signal receives ISO 14001 Certification
Auer Signal's consistent efforts and dedication to environmental protection and sustainability in all areas of our business led to the successful achievement of ISO 14001 environmental certification in 2024. This significant milestone in our journey to become a sustainable and resource-efficient organization validates our actions and paves the way for future initiatives.
In addition to the ISO 14001 environmental certification, Auer Signal's quality management system has been ISO 9001 certified since 1999.

We have been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal for our CSR commitment. This marks an important milestone in our sustainability efforts. With this award, we have proven that we are on the right path to achieving our sustainability goals.

Elektro Recycling Austria (ERA) and Auer Signal:
A collaboration for sustainable recycling of electrical appliances
Auer Signal has committed to commissioning ERA to take back old electrical appliances from Auer Signal - a partnership initiative that focuses on sustainability and resource conservation. ERA ensures that the electrical waste is recycled professionally and in an environmentally friendly manner.
