For atmospheres classified as potentially explosive, in which flammable gases and vapours (zones 0, 1 & 2) or flammable dust (zones 20, 21 & 22) can pose an ongoing, frequent, occasional or even infrequent risk.

Our visual ex equipment is resistant to the risk of explosions, flammable gases, vapors or dusts. The visual ATEX devices are available in LED technology as steady, flashing, strobe or rotating lights and have a protection class of IP66 or IP67. Depending on the model, they are designed for Ex zones 1, 2, 21, 22. The rated voltage of our explosion proof electrical equipment ranges from 24V DC, 48V DC, 110-240V AC to 230V AC.
The audible explosion proof equipment is also designed to withstand gas and dust explosions. With a protection ranging of IP54 to IP66, the ATEX sirens operate at temperatures from -20°C to +75°C and cover the Ex Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. Auer Signal’s ATEX sounders with explosion protection can be mounted vertically or horizontally and reach a sound level of up to 115 dB.
